No šī gada septembra, pie mums Jēkabpils BJC brīvprātīgajā darbā ir ieradusies Luīze no Vācijas, kura dzīvos un darbosies Jēkabpils novadā mēnešus.

Sveiciens no Luīzes:

"Labdien, I hope you are all doing well!

I am Luise from Germany. For one year I will work in the children and Youth Centre in Jekabpils. I really look forward to great projects and workshops, where I can presentmy culture, but also show you some creative skills. So hopefully you will come to my events and enjoy the time there! I would appreciate it, if we can talk and exchange some typical habits and traditions about our cultures! It is intresting to me to learn another way of living. That was one of the reasons why I decided to stay in another country for a long time. I think during my time here I will learn a lot about myself, meet great people and built some friendships.

But now I will tell you a little bit more about myself. I grew up in a little town (smaller than Jekabpils) in a house with a garden, so I am a person, who enjoys the nature and like to hike or go for walks. Especially with my dog, called Kira. It is a german sheppard, so I have to do a lot of activities with her, which brings me Joy. In my freetime I really like to cook and bake by myself but also with relatives and friends. Family and friends have a high priority in my life and it will be challenging to stay in touch with them because they are living over 1000 km away. But I am a positive person, so Ithink optimistic and I believe everything will work out. I am really glad that I have the chance to do this project and I can create my own creative workshops.

For instance at 14th of September I did a little Origami workshop and it was so much fun for me and the children!

If you are intrested in me, my home country and my workshops, I would be really happy if I will see and meet you at one of my project!
